Tesla Model S Diagnostic Report

The vehicle was booked in after the owner reported a Tesla park assist failure, no assist function was available. The first step was a full fault-code scan which revealed codes GTW W290 (Park Assist Temperature Failure), PARK 3 W001 (S1 Internal Failure), and GTW W182 (Park Assist Failure). Subsequent inspection of the parking sensors showed one sensor malfunctioning. The wiring and sensor output were scoped to confirm the poor signal from the sensor, allowing the fault to be isolated.

The repair involved replacing the faulty parking sensor. After replacement, the parking assist system was tested through multiple parking manoeuvres and diagnostics to confirm correct operation. The full system was verified for clean wiring, correct sensor readings, and successful parking assist performance.
