Common Symptoms
48V Battery Warning
A warning message or symbol on your dashboard often indicates a fault within the 48V network or the lithium battery itself.
Stop-Start Failure
If the engine no longer shuts off or restarts smoothly when you come to a halt, the 48V system may not be providing the required assistance.
Reduced Fuel Efficiency
A faulty system prevents the car from gliding with the engine off, which leads to higher fuel consumption and increased emissions.
No Start Condition
In some cases, a failure in the 48V system can prevent the vehicle from starting at all, as it often powers the motor used to crank the engine.

Vehicles Affected
Vehicles that are affected by 48V issues are mild hybrid vehicles including;
- Audi: A6, A7, A8, Q7 and Q8 models.
- Land Rover & Range Rover: Discovery Sport and Evoque.
- Volvo: B4, B5 and B6 mild hybrid petrol and diesel engines.
- Mercedes-Benz: Models featuring EQ Boost technology.

What's Included?

Full System Diagnostics
We use dealer level software to communicate with the 48V control modules. This allows us to find the exact cause of a fault rather than just replacing parts.

Battery Health Analysis
Our technicians perform deep tests on the 48V lithium battery pack. We check the state of health and ensure the cells are balanced and safe for continued use.

Component Repair
We can repair or replace key parts such as the DC to DC converter and the starter generator. This helps you avoid the high costs of a complete system replacement at a main dealer.

Software and Resets
Many 48V issues require software updates or system clearing. If your system is locked due to a battery drain, we also offer a dedicated 48V reset service to bring it back to life.
All work is backed by a 12-month warranty covering both parts and labour, giving you peace of mind and confidence in the quality of our service.
