A customer’s hybrid Porsche Cayenne won’t charge condition was investigated. Scanning revealed fault codes (P0AF800, P0A7D00) relating to high-voltage battery performance. Data logs indicated that cell 88 was behaving abnormally. The diagnostics included module-level battery inspection of the high-voltage pack, monitoring of cell voltages, and evaluation of the battery management system and monitoring circuits.
