Ford E-Transit Diagnostic Report

Vehicle booked in following dealer findings of HV battery casing damage and suspected water ingress. Ford had inspected the pack, removed the lid and advised full pack replacement, although not covered by warranty. Initial inspection at LKQ Electriq confirmed physical damage to the offside front area of the battery case. Communication with the BECM was not possible at this stage, with the vehicle partially stripped by the dealer.



Ford E-Transit Repairs

A more cost-effective solution was explored versus brand new pack replacement. A tested OEM recycled HV battery pack was sourced and fitted. Integral components were checked and refitted as required to ensure compatibility, followed by BECM programming and final stage configuration.

Resolution

The vehicle was returned to service using a tested OEM recycled HV battery pack rather than a new pack replacement. Following programming, configuration, and road testing, the HV system operated normally and the final SOH report confirmed the battery was within expected parameters.
