Jaguar E-PACE Diagnostic Report
Initially, diagnostics confirmed P0AA0-66 in the Battery Energy Control Module, indicating excessive switching events in the high-voltage battery positive contactor circuit. The contactors had exceeded 500,000 activations and would not reset after an earlier software update. A reset attempt was unsuccessful, so further investigation confirmed that internal high-voltage battery control components required replacement.

Jaguar E-PACE Repairs
The high-voltage battery was safely isolated and removed from the vehicle. After opening the pack, the technician accessed the control section and replaced the worn parts and BECM. The battery was then resealed, refitted and the vehicle reassembled. Fault-code memory was cleared before charging and road-testing the vehicle.
- Safely removed and opened the high-voltage battery
- Replaced the contactors, supply relay and BECM
- Cleared faults, charged the vehicle and completed drive-cycle testing

Resolution
Post-repair checks confirmed that the contactor count had returned to an acceptable level. The vehicle accepted a full charge, entered EV mode during the road test and switched correctly between electric and combustion operation.
Following the repair:
- High-voltage battery operation returned to specification
- EV mode operated correctly during drive-cycle testing
- The vehicle completed quality control and was released for collection
